A modern-day legend in his native Portugal, Eder Lopes scored his country’s winning goal vs France in the Euro 2016 final, earning them their first ever major trophy.
Whilst many expected another Portugese name to steal the headlines on that night, it was Eder that proved the differenced with a goal that will be remembered for generations to come. Away from the national team, he has amassed over 300 senior appearances, including stints at Braga, Swansea City, Lille and current club Lokomotiv Moscow. In May 2018, he scored the winning goal to earn Lokomotiv their first league title since 2004.
